Veal ChopSo our school year started yesterday. We are back to our books. Summer vacation is over. With homeschooling one of the great things is we can work it around our schedule. So we always start mid August to allow for a lengthier Christmas vacation. So we needed to have some fun this weekend. Not that the kids got to come, but hey mom and dad need to have fun too , right? So  we did. Hubby bought us tickets to the comedian Brian Regan and it was right across the street from the fine dining establishment Teatro. This made our dinner plans very easy to decide upon. First of all, it is a restaurant in an old bank so I loved the atmosphere. Secondly, we received amazing service. And then of course there was the food. Not one thing we ordered did we not like. There were four of us, and I tasted almost everything from everybody’s plate. We are sharers in this family. Best of the best was either my sister-in-laws Calamari, or hubby’s Veal Chop. We even got a little show at the end when they made us salted caramel ice cream using liquid nitrogen in about a minute flat. I think hubby is already planning in his mind when we can go back, because it is definitely a restaurant that we would like to enjoy again. I ordered the Caesar salad to start and the Cornish hen. Both fabulous as well. Veal Chop is pictured above, my Cornish hen is the picture below.Cornish Hen
